Beautiful carved legs

I was pestering M for a mid century accent chair and found one! I saw a craigslist ad for a vintage sale but missed the actual sale. After feeling quite dejected, I decided to email the sellers and ask if they had any leftovers. Sure enough, NOBODY wanted this awesome brown chair so it was still available for me and only me. Moreover, I learned that they were selling it for $20! I arranged to see it, fell in love with it, and bought it!
I can't find any manufacturer's tag or stamps on this piece so I have no information besides that the best description of it would be a "tufted 'leather/vinyl' cane library chair." I would like more information so if anyone knows anything about this chair, please comment or send me an email. Thanks!

Did you ever get any info on this chair? I just scored two absolutely identical chairs today off Facebook marketplace. Similar to you, there are no tags, stamps or identification anywhere on them. Would love to know if they’re real leather but I have a hunch it’s fake. Would love to know if you’ve learned any more about yours!! Ps- I recognize this post is very old so I’m shooting in the dark with this comment!
